PARHELION - Dark Magic Opal
PARHELION
Light, in perpetual motion.
Some materials reflect light.
Others seem to contain it.
PARHELION was born from the pursuit of the latter — a timepiece built around a dial whose character changes continuously with light, angle and movement.
At its heart lies Nebula synthetic opal, an advanced material engineered with a microscopic structure capable of producing an extraordinary play of colour. Beneath the surface, light encounters an intricate field of silica structures, creating flashes of blue, green, violet, amber and red that appear, disappear and shift as the watch moves.
No two moments reveal exactly the same image.
And that is the essence of PARHELION.
The dial is not simply coloured. It is alive with light.
A surface shaped by hand
Creating the dial is a process of patience and precision.
The raw material is progressively shaped and refined by hand, through successive stages of grinding and polishing. Each stage brings the surface closer to its final clarity while preserving the optical depth within the material.
The final result is deliberately more than a polished surface. It is a window into the structure beneath it — a field of colour that seems to move beneath the crystal.
Because of the nature of the material and the hand-finishing process, each dial develops its own unique pattern of light and colour.
There is no identical PARHELION.
The phenomenon
The name PARHELION comes from a rare atmospheric optical phenomenon in which light creates luminous appearances around the sun.
It is an appropriate name for a watch whose identity is defined not by a fixed colour, but by the transformation of light itself.
At one angle, deep blue may dominate.
A slight movement can reveal emerald green.
Then violet, amber or a sudden flash of red.
The watch does not change.
Your perception of it does.
A different way of reading time
PARHELION is not designed to compete for attention.
Its presence reveals itself gradually.
From a distance, the dial appears refined and composed. As the light moves across its surface, another dimension emerges — unexpected, vivid and impossible to fully capture in a photograph.
This is intentional.
PARHELION was created for those who appreciate the details that reveal themselves only with time.
